Thumbs up Check Out The Steamrollers On This Car

I was disappointed that I couldn't go to the vintage races this last weekend but on my favorite porsche board someone has posted a few pics from the races.

The following 911/930/935? caught my eye. Check out the back tires on this puppy. Does anyone want to guess the size?

Survey Says?: WRONG. Those are REAL slicks. Passenger tire numbering goes out the window.

Uh, BFD. The largest tire they have there is only one inch wider. Most of them are under 345 mm though. It appears that 375 is the current tire width max.

The point is that they're slicks and not a DOT compound. They've got more grip than you can imagine.

I wish I could have gone to snag some takeoff's for the FFR....
