Don't bother Tony.

SCCA was providing course workers for the CART series. Cart's not coming. This will be the IRL. They use their own course workers as far as I know.

Besides, normally we wouldn't even be allowed to do that. The ONLY reason they let us do it was because there was a Club race the same weekend as the SPGP and they didn't have enough experienced corner marshals to go around.

Yeah - I work in downtown also. We are going to be allowed to come into work and watch the race for free

Alright, I saw a few threads about this and was also reading up on it elsewhere ... then I heard a commercial via radio saying the race is coming up and tickets are now on sale at ticket master

Holy shit I wanna go so bad..... sounds bad ass. Are they actually F1 cars or what are they actually going to be running?

GA tickets start at $25

oh ya and it's april 3rd

that's what I thought but I'm a little uneducated in this department so I didn't wanna look like a dumbass. I like watching all that stuff on TV but not sure of all the major differences.

At any rate I still think it'll be bad ass to watch ...

they have grandstand seating in like 25th row for 75 a piece and the grandstand is in one corner of the track ... i dunno if it's worth it or not and how much you can see ...

i'd rather be closer to the track but general admission is standing room and that'd be a bitch ...

Sweet. Can't wait fo this one. I've wanted to watch a Formula style race for a long time. Tickets are pretty damn cheap too all things considered.

Any of you guys that love this stuff, would also love 24hrs of Daytona or 12hrs of Sebring. And if you are an SCCA member, you can work in the pits and get free entry. Its a great opportunity to watch some spectacular endurance racing.
