well needless to say, gauged boost doesnt mean all that much, its how much air the turbo is actually pushing that matters. 1bar on a t25, and 1bar on a T66 are two totally different power levels. just crank it till you hear awful noises, then pull a # out.

that looks like a diesel truck turbo... I had a .82 on my car before, and made like 3 pounds in first gear and full boost (10psi) by 6k in second gear... I hated it....

.84 or whatever is fuckin huge. i wouldnt even put it on a 3.0 liter.

i would suggest a .63 exhaust side for a 2.0 liter range car.

honda's dont need huge ass turbos... expecially if you arent even going to run a full bar of boost. most turbos dont even get cookin till over 1.0 Bar...under that, they are inefficient as hell and surging like a mofo.

if you are only going to run 6-8 psi, get a damn T25 or 14B...maybe a straight T3... but a T3/T4 is overkill, no matter how you look at it.

a 14b can make 280whp on a 2.0 liter motor. if you want more than that, youre gonna have to run more boost. the larger compressor wheels will only start to move the necessary amounts of air after you hit 1.0 Bar...

so, either stick with a small turbo, small boost and small HP... or plan to run more boost with that turbo you got now.

if this were the old days... itd be like some kid getting a 950 cfm double pumper for his 283 SBC ChevyII... WTF mate.

that 2000civic guy well i'll run as much boost as i can with my stock b16 but i was told that 8 was safe and over that was dangerous, i was also told t3/t4 = good for b series after that i didn't know anything else about them i kinda went in blind buying shit.

EDIT: well i already bought the manifold and the turbo, so i would like to stay t3/t4 but i guess i need to find a different exhaust housing if i want my turbo to do anything?

yeah i had a t3/t4 with a .63 a/r on my 2.0 and i wouldndt hit full boost untiil 4k rpms. You are going to put a .84 on a 1.6. yeah id wouldnt be suprised if it took you to 6k or higher to spin that turbo up. Good luck and have fun. your going to hate it.

Do some research before making a purchase like that.
