do not fucking go to maaco whatever you do...I'll paint your whole car with spray paint for half of whatever they want, and I'll gurantee it'll look better

definitely suck....even if the paint job came out looking halfway decent, it'll be faded and cracking within a year...seen it a bunch of times

 

they SUCK ass .. unless you buy their presidential ambassador emperor king prime minister paint job, then at least you will have a full coat of color and clear..........

 

I think it differs with differernt locations. Try and look at it like this..

1)you get what you pay for BUT
2)if your just trying to repaint an already jacked up ride and are real worried about getting it chipped/beaton/scratched/etc
then Macco isnt a bad solution if you really look at it. IF your not looking for show quailty or even new dealership quaility but probably alot better than most of the beaters out there $300-$700 a year or so for a fresh paint job is alot better than $2-$3k IF your car is just going to get hit by rocks on the road, chips, doors, etc, etc.

All comes down to what you have in mind for the car. I've seen a car or two from them that actually werent that bad at all BUT they WIL NOT paint door jams The paint only last 2 or so years(when they were using really cheap materials then) and it was no big deal....why...because it only cost $300+/- bucks.

 

the factory black paint is starting to oxidize, just lookin for something, doesnt have to be the best paint job out there ya know

 

macco definately sux an old friend of mine quit working there a few years ago because of their half a$$ jobson the cars they paint

 

+1 on shitty black paint oxidizing and chipping, need a paint job like whoa

 

i got my truck painted black at econo, and it actually came out pretty good... at least the black did. i got it painted blue there a few years ago, and it was chipping and peeling and shit, so i went back there and they painted it again for free.
