Default MT Tire question..

I was checking out the MT et street and the et street radial or something similar to put on my car but i was wondering what kind of mileage i could expect from something like this? The car will rarely be driven very hard so I dont expect the tires to take much abuse.... but how long do you think they might hold up on just being driven on the street???

Personally I'd go with a Nitto DR in your situation. What size rim?

I'd say go with a BFG or a Nitto drag radial if your not going with a M/T.

If you look in my gallery you will see that I have the new MT DR on my car. Have used every other type of DR and nothing compares to this tire. On the down side I do not expect them to last more than perhaps 7000 to 8000 mi. I also drive very easy unless I'm at the track. Great choice for tire. If you just need better traction and hard core launches are not that important buy the nitto. The nitto is a great tire for street use and you will get at least 15K if you keep the same driving habbits.

the m/t radials are still kind of new so no one is sure on how many miles it takes for them to be shot.but the radials have a softer compound then the et streets,i would go with the bfg's if i was u.but i know that when my new car is done i'll have the m/t radials on my car.i know i dont want to have my ass handed to me because i couldn't get traction.

a good friend of mine has about 5K miles on them and says they can easily go another 2-3K miles. i dont think that is bad as an alternative to a dot race tire. i had a set of ET Streets that lasted me 8K miles.
