oki the tranny may have blown out yesterday but i dont know for sure.


like i was just driving normally and i went to shift into second and all.

i have a bad second gear synchro so i try to just yank the shiter into it and keep the grind to a minimum, but i yanked harder than i ever have before and i hear a light "cah" sound and then i slip the cluth to drive in second and true enough im still in first so i was like damn hmm lets try third and it wont go into third, it just grinds like hell, same with 4th and 5th so i pulled into publix and was like damn.

reverses it is still first gear, so 1st 2nd and reverse are all first gear the others wont engage wOOt!!!!!




and when i have the shifter in nuetral if i slip the clutch it drives in first gear once again


so i took apart the shifter console and everything seems to be moving fine, and when i look under the hood and have someone shift everything out there seems to be moving



so this means i blew it right, i mean i have a few people saying it may be rods or cables but the cables look like they're working fine lol


i dont know anything abotu trannies so please help!!!!!

i am having problems with my tranny and it is cable driven so i am being told that it may be stretched cables or a shot pressure plate and then i have people saying it is the whole tranny and i have people saying they have no idea.

i am looking for advice from people that actually know what they are talking about and obviously it aint you so plz /urself at ur earliest convience!!!!!!!!
