Anyone know what to use to paint a valve cover or where to have it done.....J/w..

high temp engine paint, usually.
or just get it powdercoated.

im also a big fan of getting valve covers bead blasted, and clear coated.
i think the bare metal looks the best, except "special" ones i.e. type r, jun, spoon. and whatnot.

i had an sr20de valve cover bead blasted, and it turned ot looking like shiny aluminum, clear coated it, and it was beautiful.

yea, I used airplane remover on the cover....what now? what makes it look polished?

i think just using super fine sandpaper, and some wadding polish should do it... with alot of time.

You can only use special valve cover paint that is applied by a certified valve cover painting specialist.
