well i finally decided on a aftermarket rim for the skittle,i want the gloss black OZ Aristos(can be found on stock VW R32's)...the rims are PURE SEX...now i need help finding them/prices...thanks everyone

Instead of wheels why don't you upgrade the turbo or have your head ported and polished? Do I have to teach you young'uns everything?

Depends on the application and skittle may be going on the right track even though he doesn't know it. Lighter wheels means faster times and less axle breakage with high hp applications.

There is also a term I'm looking for but can't remember that relates to the fact of reducing weight by getting lighter breaks, and wheels and so forth. I'm sure someone will chime in or I'll remember it eventually.

And I answered in the VW forums too, they do not come in black on R32's, you will need to have them refinished if you want black. Unless OZ sells them in that finish but I don't think they do.

Ah thank you. When it comes to a car that is putting power to an independent suspension setup, unsprung weight does play a big part in power and saving parts.

You mean "rotating mass" and how much he'd lose? I think its 1lb of rotating mass = 4lbs anywhere else?
