dash kits only cover small parts of the door and dash, Im painting the whole interior door panel with a few colors, leaving the dash mostly black, (the way it is) and painting the plastic panels in black also...dunno what to do with tan rear seats?

I wouldn't use gasoline....leaves residue. Use acetone or non-chlorinated brake cleaner. That shit eats thru residue, oil, you name it.

fabric is ok my upper part of the door pannel is but the sun faded the blue material si i had to get rid of it. just dont use vinyl to wrap it, it is hard as hell and warps in climate changes.and in reply to Enthalpy compared to some painted interiors yes it does look awsome.
