Default Spring Compressors

Curious if any of you guys/girls have a set of spring compressors (the shackle clamp style) I could borrow later on this week. I really don't want to buy a set when I'm only doing the installation once. Please shoot me a PM if you can help out. Thanks!

autozone rents them for free, you just have to leave a deposit.
just make sure you specify if its just regular coil springs, or for macpherson struts though. or id say theres a 98% chance of getting the opposite one that you need.

My only problem is I don't have an Autozone anywhere close to me.

Don't need spring compressor, just losen the top nut and fire it away from you into a peice of cardboard or a towel. Worked for me, just be carefull and don't get yourself killed.

HAH...you could do that. But you need to compress the new spring onto the strut to thread the nut onto the strut shaft.

Charles and I might have a set sitting around here.

(on a useless note, it took us two sets of them to get my stock Integra springs compressed enough to get them back on the strut when I put the car's suspension back to stock....twas not fun)

I'd have to dig around and see if I can find where I packed em'. Only thing is I'm sure you have an Autozone closer to you than our house(just south of Riverview)
