Spring Compressors
Curious if any of you guys/girls have a set of spring compressors (the shackle clamp style) I could borrow later on this week. I really don't want to buy a set when I'm only doing the installation once. Please shoot me a PM if you can help out. Thanks!

autozone rents them for free, you just have to leave a deposit.
just make sure you specify if its just regular coil springs, or for macpherson struts though. or id say theres a 98% chance of getting the opposite one that you need.

Don't need spring compressor, just losen the top nut and fire it away from you into a peice of cardboard or a towel. Worked for me, just be carefull and don't get yourself killed.

I used the towel method to get mine out.... and my new springs didnt need to be compressed to be put on. check to see if you do really need to compress the new springs to put it on the strut before anything.. you might be going through all this trouble for nothing
