Not unless they are aftermarket.

The car will be fine with only water. I'm running like 90/10 water to coolant ratio with a bottle of water wetter in there. Stock cooling system and 300whp and it runs at 180 constantly.

As BigBadBuick said, look into the reason the car is eating up coolant. Just keep a close eye on it once you do the complete flush and refill. If the coolant level decreases at an abnormal rate, then look under the car for puddles. Look for pooling coolant near the water neck and check that the passenger side carpet isn't soaked. Also check the oil.

the whole car is aftermarket LOL.
So YES they are aluminum. Why do people on here always think girls are so ignorant when it comes to cars?

Okay it's fixed. Found where the leak was coming from. The plug on the water pump had dry rotted away and it was leaking from there. Cost me 2 bucks to replace it and it took like 5 minutes. The water pump is a pretty red color (thanks to the guy who picked out the parts), and I never actually looked at it until today. Turns out someone wrote in black marker on it, "I'm Gay". Nice.

But yeah it's fixed, thanks guys!

No one here thought you were ignorant. You asked a question, we answered. They would have been the same replies if you were a man. Simple as that.

Happy to hear the problem is fixed.

LMAO. Sounds like something out of Coastal. The guys at Coastal have autographed a few pieces with similar sayings.

Well i wouldn't say that guys think ALL girls are ignorant, but judging by the question you made this thread to ask, i'd say you don't know much. People are only trying to help, don't be ungrateful.

Are you kidding me? I've been through every other problem except for my car overheating. I don't feel it was a stupid question. As a matter of fact, the guy who helped me out (a retired mechanic) told me IMPORTANT things that weren't said here. Some of it is common knowledge but you definitely just made a poor judgment. You just lost a lot of cool points in my book.

I've also come to the conclusion that a lot of users on here are just teenagers (many still in high school) and talk like they think they know everything. It's hard to find someone who truly knows what they are talking about. All cars are different and assumptions shouldn't be made about a car you aren't familiar with.

I knew that the heads were aftermarket, just didnt know that it necessarily meant they were aluminum. Guess I'm stupid? As far as the past questions I've asked, nobody was knowledgeable enough to even answer them. Everyone said something different and they were mostly guesses. So...rigggght.
