I would like to "smoke" my tail lights, what do you guys use and where can I buy it. Ideally I would like to spray them with the tint then use a clear coat

 

smoked vinyl will work just fine.

i say you just leave them be. no one's going to think you're cool or be impressed if you have smoked out tails. will probably be the case of "hey, 1995 called, it wants its smoked taillights back".

I don't think it is a ricer mod. Take one look at my stock tail lights and you'll understand why I'm going to smoke mine.

I'm going to take mine to a body shop and have them smoked. Nightshades looks good on the small stuff (i.e. turn signals, corner lights, etc), but I don't think it looks right on large lights.

 

Which do you have? The altezza style, or the just the cleared out lens ones? At least you have an excuse.
