I'm pretty sure the stock rear left tire should be a 255/40/17

HRE's are sweet.

HRE's are nice, but 19" is wayyy too big. Yuck. I guess for daily driving it's ok. That's cool though.

It's nice that you have other people doing things for you all the time, but it's also nice to have some knowledge about things so that you don't end up in situations like this or get ripped off, etc. They target us women to rip us off, and I laugh at them. For example, Tire Kingdom wanted to charge me $300 for a 225/45/17 Michelin. I was like.. yeah BS. peace out.

I just thought I'd help you out by explaining tire sizes, etc. So you know next time, maybe? ...

Ha! Because I know about tires, somewhat? Flattering, but my boyfriend has helped in teaching me about tire sizes, etc.

Hey Regina,
Never will care, sorry. If you give me your number, maybe I'll call you next time, since you know everything. Can you re-build engines too? That would be sweet! And I don't plan on racing my car...so 19" will be fine (yes, for daily driving). Wanna race just for kicks? haha.

19's look nice on a Supra. 18's are by far the more functional wheels, though.

Just wondering how old are you? You really should care though, I would find it quite embarrising if i didnt know something about my car...

Funny how you dont plan on racing, yet you want to race for kicks

Wow, sorry for actually replying with something helpful in your thread. I don't street race, but good luck with having no knowledge of your car.

First of all, you need AAA. It's like $80/yr or something.

Second, it's a fairly new car, find the owner's manual, grab a drink, and get to know your car.

I pulled into Tire Kingdom with the Buick, told him I need 4 new tires, keep the best one as the spare, spare's in the trunk. No problems, the guy walked out to the car, checked the tire size, and that was it. Gave me options on what kind of tire, but I had basically 2 choices, so I took the cheaper 50,000 mile tire (if I get 50,000 miles out of the car, I'll gladly buy 4 more tires)

Maybe it's the gender thing. Or you got a moron that didn't know. No I don't expect you to know your tire size. I don't know mine off the top of my head. Why should I? But they can look it up, or when the car gets there, look on the tire for you. Hell that's THEIR job, not yours. You just pay.

But if you're standing at the car, you should be capable of finding the tire size, even if you need some guidance. We all learn at some point. Even guys aren't born knowing this stuff. Most girls just don't care, so they never learn. Then they get told their tires will be $300 each, and out comes the magic card. That can be avoided, and I think that's all most of us are trying to get across.

Beware running a little donut on the drive wheels of a car with POSI. At high speeds the speed differential between the two wheels can burn up the friction disks.
