The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Thus the reality in the real world.....
Nice lil fixed up honda/nissan/etc. for a daily driver, but something to haul ass down the 1320 I would except nothing but a well built V8.
In no way am I an import hater cause my fav car isn't built here:
To me the RS6 is teh sexiest machine around.

To a point, I think it is. For example, a 2.0 engine with i-VTEC, VVTi, whatever will probably have more HP and TQ than a 2.3 or so not so equipped.
Or if its a Honda, no change in torque

gearing, weight, and packaging make up for a lot. This is why a 220whp n/a honda can run mid 11's. A 220whp 5.0 would still be in the 14's

95% of the reason a 220whp honda can do that is because of the weight.
When my stang had 186whp it ran in the 8s in the 1/8th pretty easily.
