Why not put a mod motor in the last body style 240(don't remember the chassis #)? I don't know if it will fit easily enough in earlier years but i know a guy who has test fitted and swears the only thing needed for the engine to fit is a slightly modified oil pan, or you can go dry sump.

Well if nissan would put out something lately that was actually worth a damn I may have been interested. But after getting the z06 I cant see another car that I would rather have right now. You make it sound like its an import vs domestic thing. Im looking at it as a how fast do you want to go for cheap and easy thing. How many actually fast 240sx are running around here? Not very many. as of now its getting a 2.4l sohc turbo .. im going against the grain... why should i spend 4000 to downgrade my displacement ? that money can go into one of the 3 2.4l i have sitting in the garage and be made just as potent for dragn' ..
rhd conversion is underway also ..
