If you want a drag car, build the stang
If you want a car that handles well, light and nimble, build the 240

I have both cars so I am allowed to say the above.
Foxbodies are relatively light, and can be made nimble with about $3-6k of suspension goodies. Even the early SN95 is a decent platform for a capable roadracer.

Most likely, but the advantage in handling is outweighed by its lack of power if were talking stock form.

The basic point is the fox body can be made into anything you want it to be, it's one of the best starting points for any project car.
