According to kbb.com the suggested retail on a 2002 with 10k miles is $41,060.

No the first mod should be Long tubes and some sort of CAI. The Ls6 cam is better than the stock Ls1 cam already so when you open them up and let them breath they will already put down 350+ to the wheels. As for the cam well when the time comes go see RevX they know what you need.
