Ok "buddy". I priced Mustang cat-backs as a reference. I am sure the same applies for Stealth/3000GT exhaust when you compare the average price of an aftermarket catback with a "custom" backyard job.

Please let us know who can fabricate a custom exhaust using a mandrel bender locally for $300.

 

Are you installing the catback on a mustang? It literally takes 15 minutes and 4 bolts man, do it yourself.



EDIT: same thing with o/r x pipes and MIL elims..if you can turn a wrench you can do mustang exhaust

me and my boss were just laughing about that guy a week or so ago.
always wears jeans, and a white shirt, with his greasy mullet going in a perfect line down his back.

 

Everyone is correct in their info so far,most exhaust shops don't see quality they see $ signs,get it done mentality,Rainbow on eastbay and belcher has done some nice work but if you wan't top notch quality go to someone who cars and has the ability(race related,coatsal,fordspeed)you really can't go wrong.
