reading the news paper today. Mayor Rick Baker of St. Petersburg got a hold of Tony George, president of the IRL, 6 months ago. Last Thursday Tony stood next to Mayor R. Baker and anounced the April 3rd race in downtown St. Pete on the 14 turn, 1.8 mile course. The 3 year contract should be finalized by a vote from City Council members by Sept 9.
