I don't know, the older i get the less of an issue going fast becomes. I like nice looking stuff a lot now. If you're talking about ghetto tin foil looking rims then i change my answer, but if they're tasteful 20 inch (22s are fucking huge) rims, i think i'd choose that, especially seeing as you get much more use out of the Explorer.

 

I'm starting to think the same as Vito, sometimes. Sure being fast is great, but theres always someone faster and you will never be done with speed. But then again, rims don't do much for you. Tires are alot more expensive, etc etc etc.

Tough decision for me. Prolly just hold onto the money until I figure it out. Everyone seems to be for speed here (something to do with Tampa Racing I assume.

 

fact:rims get old fast,ask the average person on this site how many times they have swapped rims

fact:no matter how old you are,you will never do the speed limit.when i start getting older i still want something fast but more "luxary" like a 911 or convert mercedes.
