Wow, that's a tough choice, but at least you (unlike 99% of other threads like these) picked a couple cars worth buying.

If it was me, I think I'd have to go with the g35.

G35, although i want the mustang more than anything I would rather wait for the cobra( or whatever the high performance mustang will be)

I'm glad I am in good company here on TR. I have been debating these 2 cars for about 6 months now, and probably will pick one up by christmas. I thought only I was torn....but I guess it truly is a hard decision.

nah.....not yet. I actually just found out on the infiniti site that the official HP INCREASE on the G35 is 18hp, taking it to 298HP. 2004 was 280hp/ 270tq

As for the Mustang is not documented yet.

that g35 vs 05 cobra? tough choice. i went with g35 though. best sounding engine/stock exhaust note ever, imo

There is NO 2005 COBRA!!! That's a modified GT. Cobra will not be out till 2007 and nobdy knows what it will look like!

well hopefully the GT has a little more (like 60-100) more ft/lb tq than it does HP...

edit: you should let your kid choose, like in those commercials

my bad. the cobra badge is misleading then. regardless of what it is, that mustang still looks good
