A time from a trip to the track with the POS DSM:
13.330 @ 102.02

I did that with a big boost leak that was costing me at least 1-2 mph (my base idle set screw had fallen out after a faster run) and with a crappy 1.9 sixty foot. I could have hit a 12.9 if I could have driven the car to a proper 1.6-1.7 sixty foot.

OK, now that that is on the table, my car is slow. It's fast enough to get me around town decently enough, fast enough to pass effectively, but nothing impressive. I took the car to the track for the first time expecting low-mid 14's, high 13's if I was lucky, but my first run was a 13.24 with a much better sixty than the run I got a timeslip for (1320) and 4 pounds less boost.

So, if your car runs slower than a 13.3 at ~104 (trap minus boost leak), it is slow. Discuss.

I agree. I can run 13's on my spare motor. My spare motor is a basically stock 1972 350ci SBC out of a pickup truck. And yes, most rice still gets rocked by my Camaro.

I can't wait until I drop the blown 327 back in.

i get mad sometime cause im 100% positive that ican pull off a 13.7 with my crx and people swear to god its the fastest thing on the streets. personally, im shooting for low 12's high 11/s then i think it will be fast enough

 

Hmm... green Buick. I don't remember, but it was prolly me. I drive around Tarpon a lot and the car is kinda high profile.
