What is the best, most reliable family car?
I'd stay with the Altima ... why change? Altima's fit your description unless it's old/high mileage.
If not, new Altima/Maxima, also I know a few people with those Newer design Hyundai Sonata's and they have zero problems with them and you can get them around 15k out the door! 6 year 60k mile bumper to bumper and 10 year 100k mile restricted warranty.
If I was looking for a cheap and new daily driver with a comfortable ride, I'd definately get one of those new Sonata's.

Sentra, Altima, or Accord. ive seen too many problems with toyotas to ever want one, no car is perfect and whatever you buy will have a warranty so buy what ever you like and has the best price...

Im a little biased as both my mom and I have 2000 Maxima 5 spd's, but I love mine and u can find 02-03's (3.5L V6 255 hp) for not too expensive, and youll have WAY more fun driving them than an accord or camry IMO.
