Default Dual battery setup?

Who runs dual batteries?

whats good?

series, parallel, with isolator without??


I need more power!


I'm running a 140amp alternator... any suggestions on the way I should set it up for duals??

you need an isolator. if you parrallel them you'll be running 24v :o

Wrong answer.
Batteries in parallel produce the same voltage.
Available current however is increased.

I think your wrong. you need a battery isolater available from stinger or monster. Dually's run off of two batteries

This is correct. Why do you think you hook up positive to positive and negative to negative on a battery when jump starting a car. You want the same voltage, but the available amperage from the 2nd battery.

i see so if its +- and -+ then it would be 24volts like in a remote back to back bateries

i have 3 batterys i run them + + + and - - - all grounded to same area
