Nope. It falls exactly in line with it being vaporware and BS marketing hype. If it were a real product you'd have your technology protected by patents.
I'm raising the flag......
Not sure if its the same kind of idea but i know that the saturn vue has an auto but it doesn't shift gears...if you floor it the rpms hold at like 6 grand until u let off. its wierd but i think thats something different than this.

Absolutely, but since you're protecting your 'technology' with non-disclosures rather than patents.....
I mean really, are you going to have every customer sign a NDA? And every mechanic who works on a customer's transmission? What about everybody who buys a used car with a zeroshift in it? NDA's for them too?
You can't sell a secret and keep it a secret. There's no way you'll be able to market to true performance enthusiasts without telling them how it physically works. You might be able to get the ricer crowd to jump on the bandwagon if the actual shifting process sounds 'cool'.

Leonard:
Thanks for the insight.
It's like this. ZeroShift is not looking for licensees of its technology (selling IP), ZeroShift is preparing to sell product. We do not therefore need anyone to know what the IP is, other than direct clients like car companies and racing teams who (like us) prefer to go about their business confidentially. While the lid is on the secrets, we continue to develop and file more patents. The NDAs are the braces to go with the patent belt - not instead of!
- ZeroShift is patented (the portfolio extends to over 20 patents, as stated in the History section of our web site).
- R&D and test programmes are conducted in secrecy (motor industry norm, maybe you're assuming the only programme is our T5 in a TVR - not so...)
- The market knows the product is coming (two leading technical journalists were shown the ZeroShift system, see our web site for their conclusions subsequent to reviewing it)
- Full public disclosure of the technology will be made ahead of first public sales.
There is a lengthy gap between patent filing and publishing which we can use to our advantage. The broad commercialization of ZeroShift technologies extends far beyond cars (indeed, beyond vehicles).
Our disclosure will actually be ahead of the patent details becoming published through the Patent Office channels. At the moment, I think only one or two pretty opaque details can be found out through patent searching our technology.
Thanks for the insight.

I think he's posted to much info and been here too long trying to sway us that it exists for it to be fake. I dont know that it's 100% true, however it is still likely that this may work.
Time will tell. Perhaps we shall see these soon enough to be able to test them.
It seems that for monthes on end, the Impreza WRX has lead the polls, and an obvious canadate for the next application. Perhaps by the end of the year, probably by the time they start production/research, we will finally get their transmission.
Few questions: is this on sale yet in UK? When will you inevitably build the Impreza tranny and move on to the next build? Thanks
