I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I agree either are great to look at and I think the Xb looks better but when you have two 5 year old and a wife with a known reputation for not being nice to her cars it was a no brainer for me. Plus it is virtually impossible to dirty the inside of the Element, it is rubber, plastic and thick waterproofed fabric everywhere.
And to think I brought home a new Navigator and four door Lariat F-250 for my wife to choose from and she took the Element.

I love the styling of both. Unlike 99.9% of the cars you see on the road, the styling is actually unique and does not emulate anything the competition has to offer. The Element would have been my preference of the both, but the car payment would have been a bit more than I could chew.

Why does it have to be 'cute'? On average I'm told my car is 'cute' by at least one person everyday. Even a guy standing beside his wife said my car was cute. Why can it not be dashing, appealing, or alluring instead?
