I think its a pretty shitty TR policy if people are not allowed to post anything but rosey experiences concerning area shops.

It kind of destroys the whole idea of TR being a resource for area enthusiasts.

While I know nothing about RR if people had anything to say about the shop I worked at, so be it. Word of mouth cuts both ways ya know.

Would someone care to explain the TR policy about people posting negative opinions about area businesses with me?

That and people post the same horror story over and over again. Much like some of the Bush bashing threads, the shop bashing threads get old real quick.

Man, that reason is the suck.

Some horror stories are worth repeating and if TR will not allow the truth to be aired about advertisers then its just making itself worthless for a buck.

If an advertiser can't stand its reputation being discussed in a public forum they can always opt to advertise on a bus stop instead.

IMHO, a shop should maintain its rep by rectifying customer issues, not by sweeping them under the rug.

Default Good and bad but trying like hell

Thanks for the kind words guys,we have been open for 6 years now and I wish I could say I was proud of all 6.I have made a ton of mistakes w/ the business and I am sure that there are a bunch of people w/ less than great things to say,but in the same respect there are bunch more that love us and the work we do.The work that goes out now gets scrutinized front to back, there is just me and one other person who comes highly decorated by Nascar technical and we do the best job we can do on everything we touch.Jomar was on the staff for a while and did impeccable installs and customer service but due to the lack of the normal bolt ons he has chose to seek different employment for the time but I still think the world of him and wish him the best of luck. The moral is that it is a new day at Race related and my every hour awake goes into the shop, the projects, the learning of every possible angle to build, tune, and serve.I urge you all to give us a shot, you will not be dissappointed.
