Default REAL Toyota Altezza sighting
Up here in Virginia, I ran into the owner of a beautiful Altezza.

No, not a Lexus with new badges. Here's what I got.

2004 Toyota Altezza 4-door
2JZ-GTE single turbo
24-valve VVT-i
oh yeah

RIGHT DRIVE!!!

Some little Japanese dude. He was fucking cool too. My camera was up in the hotel room though

Said he doesn't race it, it's just his daily driver. HA!

And yes, the door sticker said TOYOTA ALTEZZA, not LEXUS IS300.

That would be the Altezza AS300 JCE10.

I dont know shit about these cars, but isnt the Altezza a skimpy 2.0 liter version of the 3.0 liter IS300? I didnt know there was actually turbo versions made?

There is an altezza 2.0, but theres also a 3.0.

Did they come with turbo VVT-i 2JZs from factory?! I've never heard of a stock turbo IS300/Altezza, much less one with VVT-i. I know the 98 Supras had VVT-i though
