92 is the best year, 6 bolt engine, 4 bolt rear. they're very good cars for modifying and making them go fast. there are a few in this area into 12s, it doesn't take too much to get a 1g awd to go 12's. and imo they're not ugly at all, i think they're hot looking especially the talon.

I have a 90 fwd with potential to do 12's with its current mods.Awd is easier to make run 12's because traction is there.

The 4g63 is arguably one of the best 4cyls ever made. They will take 450hp on a stock block without issues. If you dont know much about the car i would suggest learning more first, mine was definatly very very picky.

Your fwd wont do 12's so hush. It's easy to get an awd in the 12s, fwd is a totally different story.

You do not want a mitsubishi car. Let me tell you from personal experience. They will drain all of your money, everyone will hate you and it will become your life. I guess you could call it the ford of imports. Did I just say that?

I'm not one to keep all hush hush about my mods. The car will do 12's with traction.

Oh no, oscar has upset the master of all 4g63 experts. Have you seen his car or know anything about it, you talk all this shit about how great your car is, but nobody has ever seen it in action. I am starting to smell the bullshit pile up.

I live in cocoa beach. Would you like to see video's of my car? Yes I know his setup. We have talked before, it might have the potential to run a high 12 but i still dunno. It's not I don't have faith in him, or his setup, or driving skills. I just never give fwd benifit of the doubt. Way too finiky when it come's to racing.

Note oscars post. I'm sure it will do 12's with traction. It's just fwd is a hit miss thing to me. I have told a few people here on TR my setup. I think it was either oscar or redlinegvr4. If you guys want to know so bad I'd be happy to make a post in the mitsu section and post one or two video's if I can find someone to host them for me.

There's an old saying "without traction, there is no action". That's one of the reasons why I doubt fwd's so much. Yes I know they can run 10's and all that shit. I have been to plenty of nopi events and all that. This is just my opinion though, never really been a fan of fwd.

And to stay on topic. After reading what other owners say about upkeep as far as breaking stuff, I dont think id ever wanna build one unless I won the lottery.

The only imports id like to build right now is a Civic hatch with a turbo GSR setup. Or a Nissan 240 with a SR motor in it and a bigger turbo.
Please show me where I mentioned anything about a ford breaking down at any point. I meant it as people find reasons to hate fords just because they want to hate them. Last time I checked, I didn't mention anything about any kind of car breaking down in this topic.
