Hey guys i was on my way home driving my moms car....she was in passenger seat....and i just pull out of the Mcdonalds on the corner of Gandy and manhatten, i went up manhatten about a half a Mile and wasnt accelerating hard or anything speed limit was 45 and i only got up to about 35 and BOOOOOOOM! i couldnt see it till the last second cuz thier was a car infront of me but once i saw it i couldnt swerve or anything because there was cars comming at me in the oppisite direction, I Nailed it...my Tire Popped and the rims was Bent i gained control of the car and pulled of at the next street park view i think it was inbetween 2 churches..... pulled the front right tire off and put the spair on, then lowered the car down and boom my Spare went Flat!!! BLAAAAA so i called my dad he brought a air tank and filled the spair and he drove it back to his shop! i then took my dads car and went back to the pothole took some pictures of it and watched about 6 other cars nail the pothole, then i also took a 20 second video clip of a car hitting the pothole! i dunno if any1 else that hit the potholes tires went flat or wutever but i think this is total BULLSHIT! i have talked to some friends and they have said to call the City! and have them pay for it, Would this work? how do i do this.what number do i call i have pictures of the pot hole and its also about 6 inches deep and about 2 feet wide and 3 feet long ITS BIG! any suggestions would be great thanks.....i dont have money to be buying my mom a new tire and fix her rim i would rather do stuff to my car!

 

I tried posting pics of the pot hole but i guess my files to big or soething, if any1 wants to see it i can send it to u threw email or Aim!, or maybee some1 can make it smaller for me and post it.. thanks

 

I've never dealt with this, but I have heard of people getting the city to pay for damage to their cars, had a friend in high school mess his car up bad when a draw bridge didn't close right, so it's definitely possible, good thing you got pictures, good luck.
