how much boost was he running 0HP930? or what pulley was he using?

I am not sure of the boost details but since it was the rod bearing closest to to the oil pump its also possible his oil pick up was cavitating during hard acceleration and the air bubbles blew out the oil film on that bearing.

you are putting down alot less than you should, even 440 is low for those mods, go to Coastal and have them look at your tune, something has got to be off.
