and anyone who is actually interested AT ALL in the honda world and keeps up with nationwide honda forums like honda-tech would know that honda's are being stolen daily by the tens. they're being stolen while being armed with clubs, lo-jacks, alarms with motion detectors and pagers and everything. there are pros out there who see flashy "JDM" cars with stickers and such. being that 240's are the new 'trend' lately with all the bullshit about drifting and expensive jdm parts and wheels, its just a matter of time before they start getting stolen.
so do yourselves a favor and keep it clean, simple, sleeper, stock, whatever. if you do this, cops and thieves wont give you a 2nd glance.

Stock with a heavily modded engine is always gonna be sexy in the big picture. Body kits carbon fiber hoods on white cars all that shit is a fad. You will NEVER get acceptance from everyone but who cares, and if you care what people on TR think you are just running yourself in a circle. On one hand if you put a kit on your car you will get flamed on the other hand when i took off my 17's and put si's on every 18 year old kid i work with was like "your 17's look way tighter yo". So do what you like stop making threads about what people on TR think its the same way with any subject on any board get used to it.

This is why all of my keeper cars have peeling paint, stock or worse outter body, and no badges at all

You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it.
