Default Nitto tires

Just got my new tires today Nitto Nt555. 225/40/18 and 245/45/18 for $705 mounted and balanced. Good deal? Anyone have any past experience with these? I love them so far, grip very good. Supposed to last for 55,000 miles? Amazing, maybe 5500 for me.

Discounttiredirect.com has that set for $610 (with free shipping), but not mounted.

The 555s are a good cornering tire, i used them on the VW to autocross. They are not a very good straight line performer though. I do agree you should have looked into some Kumhos or Falkens

i work in the business too and you get what you pay for, you buy a no name and you get crap. theres a reason everyone gets the big names, and nitto is one of the best performing tires out there for the price. but for your yugo i agree a no name tire is the best.
