Exclamation NSX Tranny Help!!!!

A friend of mine has a 1992 NSX and the tranny started acting up and now it will not go in to gear at all..

Locations to find a used tranny?

Recommended shops good at rebuilding NSX trannys?

Any other info you can provide would be great, thanks.

Definitely going to cost your friend a pretty penny. I had my old Integra's tranny rebuilt, and it was around $1600. Brandon Transmission did my rebuild. They can do custom applications too.....tell your friend to look them up and give them a call.

Was the 1992 involved with the ring gear recall?

No recall on his car, but that may have caused the problem.

Red and with black top.

Pulled the tranny and wanted to rebuild it but thinks the ring gear may have cause to much damage and may just be cheaper to get a used tranny.

I have nowhere near the expertise that John has, but I second this analysis. This sounds like a clutch problem.
