Got VTEC?
I'm guessing he does.
I was on my way to work today and saw this car. I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. Along with the fart tip, it had some audio stickers and a wheel company sticker on the back of the car. The funniest part is, it has the stock hubcaps on it. He had a huge VTEC sticker across the front windshield and a big V decal on the hood. Also, this was a Civic DX I think, they didn't come with VTEC did they? I'm sure the guy could have done a swap, but judging by the car, I doubt it. I love the Crane Cams sticker in the window too. Do they even make cams for Hondas? Anyway, sorry about the quality, it was with my crappy phone cam. I gotta keep my digi in the car so I can get good pics of this stuff.

So the EX's have VTEC? Even if it was an EX, I wouldn't run around town all day with DOHC stickered all over my car. Oh yeah, he didn't seem to interested with trying to run my car. I never even tried to mess with him, but we had two lights together and he didn't try anything.

no, DX's are non-vtec. only the EX(130hp) and SI(160hp) have vtec. of course, he could have swaped the head and put a vtec head on it, or he may have done a swap.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.

looks like the only honda engine that crane cams makes a cam for is the 1.6l sohc engine, which is the engine that comes in that car.:o

never mind, they make them for the 1.8l dohc acura engines as well.

Like I said Corey, it could have been an EX, I'm Honda dumb. I didn't see any emblems on the rear of it. It was hard to get by the Alteeza's and all the stickers.
