Default Turbo timer

Need help please ....

This morn I started my car and noticed the turbo timer screen was screwy, I turned the key off and pulled it out and the timer did not count down but the car was still running.
Now my dilema was that my car would not turn off !
I disconnected the battery and alternator and the car still ran ... dumb ass me I reconnected them both and did what I should have done 1st > disconnect the timer.

I plugged the timer back in and now the display is OK, but now when I take the key out the timer begins its count down but does not keep my car running!

Any ideas before I run out and buy a new timer ?

Thanx for any help
