ok ok i know it has been asked a bunch of times... and yes i did search it but i only found one thing. i need to know if the ls tranny will go on lets say either a b16a2 or b17a1? and if so and it sucks.... why would it suck so bad? i know the ecu wont work because of the whole vtec Ls thing but what ecu would i go with, with either of these motors? thanks again for your help.... yes i am stupid i know

 

all your b series transmissions will fit the b series motors. It depends on your setup to weather or not the ls tranny is the one you want to use.

 

Yes it will. It sucks because it is geared VERY long, even when boosting it's geared too long in many situations.

ok well.... if i get the b16 or b17 or for that matter a vtec motor what ECU do i get and could i use the YS1 cable tranny with say a b16a2?

If it's for the car in your sig then yes. As for the ECU, just get the one that matched the engine and OBD you are going with.
