I need everyones opinion on this. My buddy is selling his 1990 CRX Si. It has 138k miles. I offered him $1700. Its in Fair to Good Condition and drives decent. The only problem is that it needs a new paint job, cracked interior pieces and the passenger side window wont roll up or down correctly. Is this a good deal?

I wouldn't pay $17 for a CRX, but that's just me. How many miles and all? With that much work needing to be done....$1000 would be more than a good amount, at least IMO.

138,000 is nothing for that honda, mine is at >200,000 and still runs like a top. As for the price, start at 1K and go from there. They are easy to work on and from the sound of it the fixes are minor.

 

Nothing over 1,100 for that car.

 

It is a 90 si. Which I think are the nicer years from the 88-89's. I wouldnt offer more thn 1200. The car is worth it to me. Thats simple fixes. And full crx black interior can be bought for 200 or less. in good shape. The window is also another simple fix. What color?
