As I said, Honda does deserve alot of credit for what they have done in the FWD drag racing scene (if you feel it's something to give credit for ), but remember, it is the FWD drag racing scene in America. I don't see it as the domestics jumping on the bandwagon, they were blindsided by the whole sport compact scene, remember 5.0s were the civics of the late 80's early 90's and before that it was camaros. I just think they thought it was a fad that would pass, now that they've accepted it and are starting to play, they are playing well I don't hate any cars that are built well and perform well, don't really care who built them, and don't really care which wheels move them. I installed Mike Yonke's first nitrous kit and used to love watching him beat up on the people in his class with more money in their cars, even made a pass in the car, so I certainly don't hate them. My project I was building before the buick was a FWD 90 eclipse, (still have the motor if anyone's interested). I just think it's funny that when GM got involved, FWD's go 7's, which a couple of years ago, nobody, including those in the scene thought they'd ever see 7's. You don't think GM feels they have something to prove, do you?

 

i think i am gonna start a new "fad" it's gotta be dumb though.... kinda like drag racing a FWD.

Your post is "dumb" to say the least. If you were being sarcastic I couldn't tell. I love RWD racing and FWD racing. I attend NMRA, NHRA, NDRA and other racing events every year. What's "dumb" about FWD racing? The fact that we have not seen the limits of what a FWD can do? The fact we have all been watching RWD racing for years and years now? I'm not bashing RWD racing but to say FWD racing is "dumb" is very ignorant.

FWD is dumb...as for the ignorant thing i've been called worse by people that accually know me so your attempt at hurting my fellings or what ever goal you were trying to reach by name calling simply wont work.FWD drag racing is retarded because weight shifts to the rear during acceleration and the pounds on the front end is reduced. now if your power tires are not planting to the ground because weight is shifting backwards you are in the wrong car! i would be similar to wetting the track down, that would be stupid right? same theory right there with pissing in the wind.....not a bright thing to do. and i was being sarcastic (kinda)

you do realize by posting in this thread you provided proof that what you just said is wrong. she did a 7.8 quarter, thats the world record for fwd, rwd cars regularly do 4s.... rwd is better than fwd, sorry.
