Can i make a reccomendation to you? Stop watching Fast and the Furious. What makes you think that the name brand of the car has anything to do with anything? The reason you make these "educated statements" is because you like what you are told to like. Every car started with some person coming up with his own ideas and plans to make that kind of car faster than stock. After all the dirty work was done, others copied that idea and did it for ALOT less. Why do i respect this car? Simple, its one of a kind, its unique, and the fact that this person ( which i CAN tell you works paycheck to paycheck ) busted his ass to make something fast out of nothing. Someone so dedicadted to work so hard and come up with all of that has my respect. Yes you can laugh, you can say " ohhh when will u learn u shoulda bought yada yada yada blah blah blah" I could care less about. You are mainstream, congrats you have 1 fast mustang out of the other 500 thousand fast mustangs in america. Fast Mustangs arent unique, fast bikes arent unique, YES they are fast as hell, thats cool and all, but not quite as unique as a fast geo . But for christ sake show some respect.

 

You guys make fun of this car just because it is a Geo. Well one of the fastest street cars on this board, which so many praise is just a mirage. A little yellow mirage that a guy poured a ton of hard work into to make it into a awd turbo car that is just a blast to watch run. And yet its still just a mirage. Same as this Geo. I dont think it is at the level of of Jerry`s mirage but still, it is now a awd turbo car with a ton of hard work into.

 

Well, all i have to say is that the Isuzu Gemini Irmschir Wagon (i.e., the car we happen to be talking about) is that it is quite popular in Japan to be tuned.

Call it what ever you like, but it is as JDM as any Silvia conversion or B16 powered CRX. There are devoted tuning shops and race teams that swear by them, and the Isuzus are very competitive on the track. The mentality to call this car a Geo is a joke, as "Geos" are nothing more than rebadged Suzukis and Isuzus. This is not a Geo in the technical sense.

I can't keep up with this car in my S13 Silvia, but can your little honda keep up with me? I doubt it. And if all you people go by is drag racing, then you should probably think again what it is to drive a car, this thing hauls ass and out-handles most exotics. Besides, the slip time is 3 years old. Things have changed.
