Oddest dyno event ever...
So after strapping down a s/c Viper on the dyno today I hop in and bring the car up to speed, throttle in and watch the belt fly off, no big deal, s/c belts throw often, but wait whats that you say? that would be the balancer laying on the ground. ouch. apparently Viper balancers are only held on by one bolt, no keyway, no pins, no extra support? weird but whatever, so the mechanic for said Viper puts the balancer back on with a new belt and I strap myself in for the next pull, and at about 5700 the oil dipstick flys out and the car decides to lubricate my ceiling, keep in mind my ceilings in the dyno shop are lets say around 20 feet high. so said car ventilates the crankcase like old faithful for about 15 seconds, im serious, at the very least 15 seconds, i didnt think it would stop, and this was with the car shut off. by far the oddest thing i have ever seen car related. the entire shop was coated in Mobils finest, my PC, the floor, you name it, it got oiled down, so i'm gonna go clean some more now.

ouch!, my little power steering accident don't seem as bad now
How the hell did it keep spraying? Too much crankcase pressure somehow? Reminds me of when you blow into the straw of a juicebox and the juice comes spraying back out. maybe that's what happened here
