when i bought my 95 TSI AWD sbout a year ago the guy at the dealership told me that the condenser had just been replaced. then about 4 weeks later the air stopped working altogether. upon further inspection i notiched that the belt had come off the air compressor and it was shredded. the pulley on the compressor still spins freely tho. i'm not sure if when a compressor's broke the belt comes off and shreds, or maybe when they replaced the condensor the guy put the belt on wrong? what do you guys think? belt or compressor?
