lowering question.

Question lowering question.

ok im gonna be giving the accord a drop pretty soon, like 1.5-2 inch nothing to serious, and other than getting the springs, what els should i take note of doing, basically i know very little about lowering, so do i just purchase the spring and slap them on there, or is there more to it, like camber this and that or something, i dont know.

and what springs would you say would be a good to purchase.

neuspeed lowering spring are pretty good. i wouldn't recommend coilovers unless you want to dig deep into your pockets. you might want to invest in some new shocks as well.

Anything over an inch drop usually needs a camber kit. I made this mistake, dropped my car 2" and had brand new tires....the edges were bald within 6 months. Be sure to get a 4 wheel alignment after you've got everything installed as well.

I paid less than a set of ground control sleeves and koni yellows would cost, for coilovers. Granted, they aren't adjustable. I had Neuspeed sports and tokico blues (hated it btw) and didn't have to have a camber kit for some reason.
