Any1 heard of the "phaser" radar/laser jammer?

more info on a k40.
My friend is an electrical engineer, he said he has made a radar jammer and it does work, something you can easily hide with a good install, most cops are mechanically inclined.

The whole way from georgia it was saying blocking this blocking that... 
and NO i do not have that damn thing in my supra... I use a Whistler 3300.. which is indash with sensors on my rear view, front bumper, and rear glass...works great.

I'd love a kit tho for the V1 to be alb eto place sensors into the car and then hide the readout somewhere (better than the relocation kit they have now...

There was a guy who made a working radar jammer and sold them for big $$$...now he is in prison.
But there is a way to get the information on all the parts used and how to put them together "if" you were gonna make something simlar for testing purposes.

I have one...it is funny to watch the police zap you then they look at there gun, zap you, look at there gun and stare at you as you go by.

just an fyi radar jammers are federally outlawed..... and a k40 laser diffuser is just that it emits its own signal that diffuses the laser signal coming in... it the best i install them frequently on all the porsches.

so a K40 is for laser? Blocking a laser is not illegal
Radar is only reason is because its regulated by FCC for security purposes and such. And a radar jammer will not mess with your cars electronics, if that were so many military aircraft would be spinning out of the sky

Phaser is exactly what whats his nuts said "LEDs in a black box".
Passive jamming is legal because it doesnt work.
Active jamming s illegal because it can be used to block radio waves.. including teh police radio channels. It is a felony.. if you have an active jammer yeah the police cant measure your speed but they'll see the doppler signal on the gun display, pull your ass over, rip apart your car till they find your jammer and hit you with a felony.
Actively jamming laser is legal.
K40 is a waste of money... doesnt jam laser like some laser jammers that can.. and doesnt jam radar.
A radar gun produces around 8 watts of power. Jammers on the market are between 5-100 miliwatts. Some of these jammers might jam a signal past 500meters but the power generated by the gun would simply overpower the jammer.
You can make your own jammer for a few bucks.. But you'll go to jail if u use it. Basically it'll send out an arrest me beacon.
I use the Valentine One.. Its my favorite... Cops on Bruce B downs dont stand a chance against it. If i cop is in the median near the post office of New Tampa, the V1 will show me he's ahead before i pass the Hess station and the Texaco on the South side of Bruce B downs.
