well damn, now i feel better knowing that he wasnt TRYING to kill anyone

thank you for clearing this all up for me

Also, i realize that the battle between the spoiled dumbasses f-ing up there new cars and the "less fortunate" people who respect and cherish their p.o.s.'s has gone on for a long time and will continue to go on. I apologize for ranting about this dumbass wrecking the car that he obviously does not deserve/respect, but come on. Why would you defend a high school kid who has a car that costs more than a lot of us make in a year? The kid probably doesn't pay for a dime, probably not even gas! Fair? No, but life seldom is, I'll just relax knowing that I deserve everything that i have, no matter how little that is.

I didn't flame him. I made two factual statements and offered an opinion and some advice.

Fact: This kid was born in 1986. Young and inexpireinced.

Fact: This kid has a car that sells starting at $35K and averages selling for about $38K.

In my opinion it was inexpirience and youth that led to this kid cracking up the expensive car his parrents bought for him. I gave him some succinct advice:

Live and learn and don't drive like a Jackass any more.

It is my sincere hope that he does just that, learns from his mistake and quits driving recklessly. I am glad that he is unharmed and that he did not injure anyone else but I will give him no sympathy. I am fresh out of sympathy, if that is what you want me to give him you will have better luck looking in the dictionary between "Shit" and "Syphilus".

When I lived in Chicago, I had a 99 Chrysler cirrus I used for sales calls. I was driving it to a ski hill in wisconsin on some backroads, and the ex GF was with me. Cruising on farm roads in the dark can be entertaining enough, but as I drove down this road at about 60 I saw a car coming my way..... at least I thought it was, turns out the road had a 90 degree bend and this guy was sitting at a driveway at the bend. I couldn't see any markings at the bend because his headlights were so bright, and there were no markings for the turn....

Needless to say when I saw the turn in the last 80 feet or so, I grabbed the brake, cranked the wheel, and when I hit the apex nailed the gas hoping my foot hit China.... ass end swung out into the mixed road / gravel on the side, but being FWD the front tires kept screaming for the blacktop it pulled the car around the turn. Bo and Luke had nothin for me!!!

To this day that was probably the wildest, freakiest thing I have done in a car.....in better conditions I would have called it fun even.... Regardless, I got lucky, If I were not as experienced a driver and not had luck on my side, I could have easily have been headfirst into a fence / tree / the other car / etc....

Live and learn..... at least you weren't doing burnouts in a parking lot, or driving like a jackass in a pack of 20 cars.....
