i think its better to learn on harder cars cuz then you can drive anything manuel. iif you learn on a car that doesnt have a sensitive clutch then when you jump in something that does it'll take you a while to get it again.

exactly....if you learn to drive stick in like a civic.....then try to drive a cobra.....you're gonna have some problems.......but learn to drive stick in a Cobra.....then go to the Civic.....and it's no problem.

She can try driving the DSM once I get the XACT flywheel. 11 lb flywheel+no balance shafts+2600 pound pp+n00b should= hilarity.

On second thought, that hilarity would be at the expense of the rather delicate awd transmission... I think I'll take back my offer.

I bought a BRAND NEW 2001 Acura Integra Type-R for my wife, and taught her to drive 5 speed in it.

Hell, she was stalling and grinding gears as she pulled off the dealership lot during the test drive. There's nothing wrong with that.
