Sticky tires?

which tires are known to grip better, can't decide nitto nt555 or toyo t1s?

Depends what kind of grip your looking for. The 555 drag radial is awesome for straight line but being that it has soft sidewalls to allow it to bite off the start also means the sidewall isn't strong enough for great cornering. Also part of the reason they don't have a z rated dr.

Also not sure if the nt555 is even the drag radial or not?

No the Nitto NT555R is but the BFG's are sticker. Only good for 5k though. Nitto R's will last 10-15k depending.

i drove my car on slicks it got scarey ever onece in a while when i would be on 19 doing like 65 with only like 15 pounds of pressure in them.the ass end would feel like it was floating around...damn them where the days.

I loved driving on drag radials everyday ... was very nice knowing I could nail it from anywhere in first and dead hook. I'll miss those tires

I driven on Nitto DR's on all my cars for a long ass time and have never had a problem cornering and usually get good tread life. And the Nitto's hook like a bitch!
