This is for everybody that has seen a isuzu npr diesel truck, you know what I mean when you see one there just about always white and the cab flips forward on the truck, there all around clearwater & Tampa,,,,we'll the story is that the truck has a turbo on the 4 cylinder and an intercooler and the intercooler is aluminum and is like 17" tall x4" thick x30" wide and has both inlet and outlet pipe easily accessable for any car set-up it's a bad-ass intercooler, the factory installs them on the truck with break away bolts that when you torque the bolts down the head of the bolts break off,,,which leaves not bolt to remove,,,,we'll I work at a chevy truck center and i've (not bull-shitting) have had to install new radiators,hoses,intercoolers,all hardware on at least 45 truck,,,,,we got in about 30 trucks from miami and about 25 trucks from ft myers that people have stolen the intercoolers off of -all of the truck we're brand new less then 5 miles on the trucks,,,,,,we'll in the process of installing all new crap i found out that all you need is a 10mm socket w/ratchet and a 12 mm socket and it takes about 2 minutes to take,,,, TRUST ME I'M NOT TELLING YOU TO GO OUT AND STEAL THEM OR THAT I'M STEALING THEM just thought that some people might want to know,,,so if you want a perfect intercooler for cheap money go to a diesel junk yard. we'll the police finger printed all the cabs and found no finger prints that I know of,, the funny thing about the whole situation is that you don't even have to lay a hand on the cab...............

 

Isuzu NPR Intercoolers have been "well-known" for quite some time...I've known about them for about 5 years now...

yeah I have heard about that. a guy at works got his intercooler from a junked Isuzu. it was pretty big and worked great

 

a intercooler that big will look much better than mine....hmm where are diesel junkyards around?

Although it says HKS (just a big fan)..my intercooler is also from an NPR...www.staytunned.20m.com.

This intercooler setup is no big secret either,But some people wouldve preffered u wouldve not said anything...lol.

Yeah thats a popular intercooler upgrade on the SVO/TC/Merkur. While the NPR isn't all that great, anything is better than the top mount intercoolers on these cars.
