a used WRX, I didn't even look any up, because I thought they were expensive.


EDIT: I've heard they don't have much leg room.

not used you can pick one up for 18,17, sometimes 16g

Why not pick up a brand new srt-4 for less than 20g's? Why buy used when you can have the same performance from a brand new car at the same price?

I don't really like the looks of the SRT-4, it's faster than the RSX-S and the WRX, but both of them outhandle the SRT-4.

2000 is in the middle of a kind of "dead zone", cheap performance cars were hard to come by, although one of the major drag-strip players that's no longer in existance, the f-body, was still being produced, at least. I'd vote WRX, SRT-4, if you're willing to drop a year and look hard, 99 GSX or GST.
