Default alternator?

Well I'm pretty sure my GF's alternator is bad, but is there anything I should check besides the terminals? The car will die if you stop and have the ac on at the same time. The battery light comes on lightly at idle. I had the battery checked and they said its fine though. All she has is a 500watt amp anda 560watt amp. Hardly ever turned up though and it will happen with it off.

Or leave it on and put a voltage meter on your terminals. If your system shows more than 13.5 volts at over 1500 RPMs then you are fine.

Many cars if they have the a/c on can not keep their systems fully charged at idle.

If you are dying at idle with the a/c on it could be other things besides your alternator.

Well I hate working on this car because its a FWD V6 so I'm not taking it off, lol.

What else could be the problems? The battery light is on and it gets brighter as bass hits so I know its battery related.
